From Tree to Tree

“O Come Let Us Adore Him”

I don’t know about you, but I love decking out my Christmas tree each year. There’s just something about the twinkling lights, colorful ornaments, and all the little memories that makes home feel so warm and cozy.

Of course, gifts and decorations are fun—but Christmas is really about celebrating Jesus’ birth and the incredible gift He gave us: His life, His sacrifice, and the promise of everlasting life. It’s kind of wild when you think about it—every time we put a tree in our home to celebrate Christmas, it can also remind us of the tree Jesus died on to give us hope and new life.

This watercolor piece was inspired by that heart of Christmas. The bright, whimsical tree is meant to capture God’s wonder and creativity—His beauty can’t be contained by just one color, and His love can’t be contained either. The little figures around the tree? That’s us, celebrating and lifting our hearts in worship, amazed at the gift of Jesus and His presence in our lives. As you hang it up or just look at it, let it remind you of all the ways He’s good and faithful—because that’s really what the season is all about.
