Man oh man. What a gift we have in the Holy Spirit. The Bible says the Holy Spirit is THE comforter and advocate. He will teach followers of Jesus everything and will remind us of what God has told us. No one comes close to comparing with Him. He is the spirit of the living God. The GOAT. The greatest of all time. But to get a glimpse of how amazing He is, think of Him as a Jedi Master. In the Star Wars universe, Jedi Masters instruct Padawans and train them to become Jedi Knights. Jesus breathed on the disciples and they received the Holy Spirit. The Jedi Master that would guide them into all truth, train and equip them to fight any battle, lead and direct them in their daily lives, and remind them of what God has said in His word. How cool!
I drew this piece “Breath” using black marker to represent the growth and beauty that comes from being lead by the Holy Spirit. Just like the air we breathe provides life giving oxygen to travel from our lungs to every part of our body, our need for the Holy Spirit is vital. Thankfully, He’s not hard to find. Or hard to receive. That’s why John 20:22 hits my heart so much because it shows that Jesus simply breathed to give His people this gift. If you too want this gift, all you have to do is ask God. 😄
